Matt Caldwell (Florida)
Matt Caldwell (Republican Party) was a member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 79. Caldwell assumed office in 2010. Caldwell left office on November 6, 2018.
Caldwell (Republican Party) ran for election for Florida Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Caldwell lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Caldwell is a former Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 79 from 2010 to 2018. Caldwell was unable to run for re-election in 2018 to the Florida House of Representatives because of term limits.
Caldwell has served in the East County Water Control District as chairman and as a member of the South Florida Water Management District's Lake Okeechobee Subcommittee, which helped develop plans for Everglades restoration.
Biography
Caldwell earned his B.A. in history from Florida Gulf Coast University. His professional experience includes working as a manager with Maxwell & Hendry Valuation Services, a real estate appraiser.
