A recall election seeking to remove Mike Kipp from his position as the Zone 2 representative on the Nampa School District board of trustees in Idaho was held on March 9, 2021.[1] A majority of voters cast ballots against the recall, defeating the effort.[2]

The recall effort started after Kipp cast the sole dissenting vote against allowing sports to resume during the COVID-19 pandemic. Along with the rest of the board, he also supported keeping students in online-learning in September 2020 while the county was under red alert status for COVID-19 cases.[3]

Kipp was first appointed to the board in August 2019 and then elected to a four-year term after running unopposed in the November 2019 election.[4][5][6]
