The 6th Congressional District of New York held an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 8, 2016.
Heading into the election, Ballotpedia rated this race as safely Democratic. Incumbent Grace Meng (D) defeated Danniel Maio (R) and Haris Bhatti (Haris Bhatti Party) in the general election on November 8, 2016. No candidate faced any opposition in the primaries on June 28, 2016.[4][5]
