|I was born in Lubbock, Texas and my family moved to Muleshoe in Bailey County for a while until we moved back to Lubbock when I was in middle school. My parents worked multiple jobs while making sure I successfully completed my high school education.
My Parents have shown me what a hard work ethic looks like and they also showed me how the system does not value that work ethic like it used to. The American dream is a nice home, white picket fence, a decent job, and that dream has gotten harder and harder to achieve. I was raised to stand up to injustice. I am running to fight for working Texans and to help them get a slice of the pie. I am running so that there is someone like us in the office who understands us and looks like us.
- Working Class Champion: Championing policies that prioritize working people. I would advocate for Unions and push legislation that would add protections for workers trying to organize at their job.
- Green Energy and Jobs: I am committed to advancing Texas as a leader in the green energy industry. By investing in renewable energy sources such as wind, we can not only protect our environment but also create new, well-paying jobs for Texans. Through strategic partnerships with private businesses and government incentives, we can position Texas at the forefront of the green energy revolution, ensuring a sustainable future and economic growth for our state.
- Transportation and High-Speed Rail Advocacy: Improving transportation infrastructure is crucial for the continued growth and connectivity of our state. I will advocate for the development of a comprehensive transportation plan, including the expansion of high-speed rail, to improve connectivity and reduce carbon emissions.
I care deeply about the betterment of the lives of working people. As a representative you should be working for the people’s best interests and that is what I will do if elected.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been someone that I look up to. When she won her primary election against the long standing incumbent it was very eye opening. She was an ordinary person who was working a normal job and it was very inspiring for me.

What’s most important is to have a elected official who meets with the people and is delivering for them and not big business and corporations.
I have always been passionate about helping people and I am hard working and dedicated when I put my mind into something.
The most important responsibility is to the betterment of the people that you serve. I think people forget that elected representatives are supposed to work for the people.
I would like to be remembered for my work helping people and never folding on my beliefs.
The first one that comes to mind is the Boston Marathon bombings. I remember visiting my grandmother and she had the news on in the living room and I just remember being so upset and shocked that it happened. I was 13 at the time.
I worked at Market Street from the age of 15 to 22. With a gap of two years.
My favorite book is Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. It’s one of the only books I remember reading from school and it’s so good. I always think about how I’d survive if I was in the book.
I’d want to Aang from avatar the last airbender.

The ideal relationship would be one similar to the relationship between the United States Congress and President.
The greatest challenge is school funding. Teachers do not make enough money and our schools are not receiving the funding they need to deliver great outcomes for students. Schools are not safe enough for students.
Experience is good if it’s not an experience of bribery and corruption. I believe voters would prefer a candidate with integrity as opposed to the corrupt candidate.
I think it is beneficial to build relationships with other legislators because it will help when it comes down to compromise.
Not focused on anything but the current election cycle.
The legislature should oversee the use of emergency powers to ensure that there is no conflict and no abuse of power.
Compromise is very important but there are also lines that I would prefer not to cross.
