Oklahoma Women's Right to Vote, State Question 517 (1976)

The Oklahoma Women's Right to Vote Amendment, also known as State Question 517, was on the November 2, 1976 ballot in Oklahoma as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure repealed section three of Article III of the constitution which provided for the right of women to vote at all school district elections and meetings.[1]
