Rick T. Haselton is a former chief judge of the Oregon Court of Appeals, Position 5. He was appointed to the court by former Democratic Governor Barbara Kay Roberts and assumed office in March 1994. Haselton was elected to the bench in 1994 and was retained in 2000 and 2006.[1][2][3][4] Haselton became the chief judge for the court on April 1, 2012.[5] He retired on December 31, 2015.[6]

Haselton received his undergraduate degree in political science from Stanford University in 1976 and his J.D. from Yale Law School in 1979.[5]

Haselton was re-elected to the Oregon Court of Appeals, Position 5, after running unopposed.[7] He received 99.27 percent of the vote in the May 15th primary.[8]
