Transportation/Land Use and Infrastructure Committee, Delaware House of Representatives
The Transportation/Land Use and Infrastructure Committee is a standing committee of the Delaware House of Representatives.

Per the House Rules, committees of the Delaware House of Representatives are assigned by the Speaker of the House.[1] Committees are assigned at the beginning of each legislative session.[2] Any vacancies that have occurred will be filled by the Speaker of the House.[3] The Speaker shall appoint a chairperson of each committee, and may designate a vice-chairperson to act as the chairperson in the chairperson's absence.[4] Four members or a majority make up a committee's quorum.[5]

" | Each bill, resolution or other legislative matter assigned to a standing committee shall pass through a prescribed deliberative process before being brought to the floor of the House, unless it is sooner petitioned out of committee. Such deliberative process shall include regularly scheduled, pre-announced meetings whereby the committee or subcommittee, after notice to the Sponsor, makes time available for each formal Sponsor to explain the legislation and answer possible questions, considers an analysis of the proposed legislation and receives testimony from the general public.[6][7] | ” |
