William Henry Hunt (U.S. 9th Circuit Court)
William Henry Hunt (1857-1949) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States Commerce Court.

Judicial career
Ninth Circuit and the Commerce Court
Hunt was nominated by President William Howard Taft on December 12, 1910 to fill a seat created by 36 Stat. 539. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 31, 1911, and received commission on February 8, 1911. The United States Commerce Court was abolished on December 13, 1913. On January 31, 1928, he assumed senior status on the Ninth Circuit. He retired on November 30, 1928.[1]
District of Montana
William Henry Hunt was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Montana.
He was nominated by President Theodore Roosevelt on April 14, 1904 to fill a seat vacated by Hiram Knowles. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 19, 1904, and received commission that same day. He served on this court until March 30, 1910.[1] Hunt was succeeded in this position by Carl Rasch.
