With more than 1.200 implemented long- and short-term projects completed, and 17 project offices around the world, we have established ourselves as a leading consulting company.     We are pleased to announce that NTU International A/S, in collaboration with Econoler and Rina, has been shortlisted for the “Ukraine & Moldova TA for Financial Inclusion & Recovery (UMIR)" project. This initiative, part of the EIB's EU4U Support Package, focuses on promoting responsible financial inclusion and strengthening the resilience of the financial sector in Ukraine and Moldova. The assignment activities will be rolled out via 5 components: a) TA needs assessments and sector studies. This component will allow the service provider to conduct TA needs assessments of all beneficiaries as and when they join the assignment. It will also include wider market or segmentation studies, country research etc., that may be required either by a beneficiary or by the EIB. b) Customised capacity building activities for Financial Intermediaries. Under this component, adapted and customised TA actions will be designed for each FI based on the results of the TA needs assessment and the weaknesses identified. Support can include but not be limited to the provision of staff/board trainings, (on the job) coaching, support in revising and updating policies, procedures etc. and may touch on a variety of topics. c) Ensure assignment beneficiary compliance with EIB processes and requirements as well as international standards. d) Capacity building and advisory services to support development and growth of MSMEs. Under this component, the assignment will provide MSMEs with access to a variety of support services (including training and coaching) to help them improve their financial literacy, business and entrepreneurship skills as well as prepare and develop bankable projects and investment proposals. e) Support an enabling inclusive finance environment for inclusive growth and job creation. This component will allow the TA assignment to work and support (in a limited capacity) the wider inclusive finance eco-system in both countries of operation so as to promote a responsible and inclusive financial sector. The initial duration of this contract is 60 months with a possible extension.

    Yesterday, NTU International A/S participated in this year’s DHL Stafetten in our home turf, Aalborg! 🏅   The day was a marathon of team spirit, determination and endless fun - crossing the finish line with big smiles! Yet, the real victory was in the camaraderie - our team went the extra mile for each other, making the event as much about teamwork as the race itself.   With personal records shattered and proud cheers from our colleagues, we showed that when it comes to running both races and projects, we’re in it for the long haul. Fueled by the energy and collaboration we’ve built together, we’re ready to keep sprinting toward our goals. 🚀   And, of course, we’re already lacing up for next year’s race! 💪

    We are happy to share that the Second Meeting of the Working Group on Energy Legislation successfully took a place on July 17, 2024 at the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan 🌟 At this significant event, key issues and prospects of Tajikistan's energy sector were discussed. The meeting was organized within the framework of the EU Technical Assistance Package under the Sustainable Energy Support Program in Tajikistan. One of the key speakers was Thea Khitarishvili (KE 2: Expert in policies, institutional and regulatory framework of the energy sector). Key topics: 1. Review of Energy Legislation: -Irrelevance of The Energy Law adopted in 2000 in relation to some modern aspects of the energy sector. -Necessity to develop and adopt new regulations to address technical aspects and new technologies such as billing systems. -Importance of establishing a legal framework to regulate relationships between market participants in the electricity sector. 2. Concept and Preliminary Scope of the Electricity Law: -The goal of creating an independent energy regulatory authority. -Defining the roles and principles of operation for the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources and the independent regulator. -Introducing new rules for licensing, tariff formation, and market regulation in the electricity sector. 3. Open Discussions: All participants actively shared their thoughts and proposals for improving the legislation. 4. Closing Remarks and Ways Forward: Summarizing the meeting outcomes and planning the next steps, including the development of by-laws and harmonization of legislation. Participants: Representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Antimonopoly Committee, and employees of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources.

New Award in SEA LOT 13 - 2 years EU TA to Healthcare sector in Guyana! 🚀 Thrilled to share that NTU International A/S has been awarded an assignment in Guyana’s health sector that aims to support the transformation of healthcare in Guyana, placing the nation as a regional hub for health services. Throughout the next 2 years, the NTU International A/S team will support the Government of Guyana with the overall financial health planning process of the Ministry of Health. 🏥 Guyana, the only English-speaking country in South America, has experienced significant economic growth, mainly thanks to its oil and gas production. As a result, investment in health has substantially increased focusing on achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC). As part of this initiative, the EU has also prioritised health through the Global Gateway Initiative strategy deepening its cooperation with Latin America and the Caribbean in healthcare. Key objectives of the assignment include: - Provision of advice/analysis to the Ministry of Health on health financing/budgeting and resource allocation/utilization - Supporting health financial data collection and analysis to guide decision making in the Ministry of Health Join us in celebrating this milestone as we embark on a transformative journey to make Guyana a regional hub for health services! 🌍🏥 Special thanks to the EU Delegation, the Ministry of Health, and all partners involved.     Launch of the EU-funded project: Technical Assistance for Nigeria Solar for Health Project (NISHP) On the 11th of July 2024, NTU International A/S organized the Launch of the EU-Funded Nigeria Solar for Health Project (NISHP) together with its first Federal Steering Committee Meeting. The Nigeria Solar for Health Project aims to provide clean and reliable power supply to critical public health care facilities, productive load users, and households in five Nigerian states.    The launch was attended by Hon. Commissioners of Power and Health of over 15 states as well as representatives of the Hon. Minister of Power, the Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, the MD of the Rural Electrification Agency, and 27 State governments and the Federal Capital Territory.    At the meeting, NTU provided an overview of the NISHP, discussing the project's objectives, features, and state selection criteria. NTU also highlighted the responsibilities of the EU and state governments, the latter expressing their interest and enthusiastically signaled their readiness to meet the project's selection criteria.   The meeting concluded with the formation of the Federal Steering Committee comprising of: the Federal Ministry of Power, the Federal Ministry of Health, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, the Rural Electrification Agency, selected State governments, selected PHCs, and the Delegation of the European Union to Nigeria and ECOWAS (as Observer). #EUinNigeria #NISHP #NTU Federal Ministry of Power Rural Electrification Agency of Nigeria National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) Godfrey OGBEMUDIA Massimo De Luca Tinyan Ogiehor Nasiru Bello
