Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Thank you for contributing edits that were made in good faith, but have been deemed to not contribute positively to the article, and thus been reverted. You are welcome to discuss it in the article talk page. Also, you can experiment with your edits in the sandbox or seek advice (see below).

Some good links for newcomers are:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. If you need help, check out the Teahouse, ask the Help Desk, or place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Once again, welcome! Schazjmd (talk) 14:37, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dates[edit]

Per the Wikipedia manual of style, we do not use ordinals (1st, 4th, etc.) for dates. Hope that helps! Schazjmd (talk) 14:38, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Sinking of the Titanic, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Sinking of the Titanic. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Canterbury Tail talk 15:14, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. Canterbury Tail talk 15:26, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  PhilKnight (talk) 16:13, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Im new to wikipedia and didnt know what i was doing was wrong. I understand that i was disruptive and I apologize profusely. It was not intentionalTreyFern513 (talk) 18:20, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You also shouldn't be making edits merely to obtain autoconfirmed status- that's gaming the system. The system exists for a reason. 331dot (talk) 08:31, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You have evaded your block with ETG3661 (talk · contribs) and have a sock account of TreyF513 (talk · contribs). PhilKnight (talk) 18:30, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
TreyF513 is an account I made last night before remembering I had TreyFern513. So I switch over to that one because I had already had it for the four days. I wasnt intending to be disruptive. Was just trying to get to 10 edits so i could edit the semi-protected articles. Admittedly, I did just make ETG3661 before realizing i could appeal the ban on this account. And for that i am sorry. I'll be better in the the future if you decide to unblock my account. TreyFern513 (talk) 18:37, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'll delete the other accounts TreyFern513 (talk) 18:38, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Accounts can't be deleted.
You shouldn't be creating new accounts to circumvent blocks. When you are blocked, you are blocked, not just the account you post with. A block of you is removal of your authorization to make any edit anywhere on English Wikipedia on any PC using any account anywhere in the world. The only exception is to constructively discuss your block on your talk page.
Block reviews can take a while as this is a volunteer project. Admins have a massive workload and reviewing unblock requests isn't considered an emergency, so the wait, depending on who is around, can be hours, days, or weeks. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 19:15, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ill be waiting TreyFern513 (talk) 20:55, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You there? TreyFern513 (talk) 19:04, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

English version[edit]

Information icon Hello. In a recent edit, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the first author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Canterbury Tail talk 14:50, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
