Comment This is one of many articles related to the PBA nominated for mass deletion by the same nominator, almost all of which have significant coverage from a number of reliable sources. There is an indication of WP:BIAS and a failure to properly perform WP:BEFORE. I have contacted User:Sportsfan 1234 on his talk page, he has not responded to my comments but has continued to make deletion nominations. Articles known to be affected include: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Simon Enciso, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hyram Bagatsing,Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Von Pessumal, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Don Trollano, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Teddy Alfarero,Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ric-Ric Marata,Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Manny Victorino. There may be others, particularly some others may have been deleted, such as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Prince Caperal,Edward Chongson,Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anjo Caram,Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Norman Gonzales,Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aries Dimaunahan,Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dino Daa,Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dennis Daa Jacona (talk) 21:39, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

But did you properly perform WP:BEFORE to check whether they passed WP:GNG? The PBA is pretty well covered in the national media in the Philippines. I checked one of these Afd's and a short search turned up a variety of sources. Seems to be the same with others, so I'm a bit worried that these Afd's are done with no WP:BEFORE whatsoever. Speedy Keep Clearly notable per the above sources. It is obvious nominator did no WP:BEFORE. This and the others easily meet WP:GNG. May be time to escalate since nominator has a pattern of doing this for at least the past several months. Smartyllama (talk) 20:37, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
