Pharmacy
At Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center pharmacy you can expect to be greeted by knowledgeable pharmacists and pharmacy technicians dedicated to serving the most deserving population. Our pharmacy team processes an average of 750 prescriptions per day for active duty (AD) service members, AD dependents, retired service members, and their dependents. We are committed to providing our patients with the best pharmaceutical care to ensure optimal outcomes from the use of medication. When picking up prescriptions, patients must have a military ID card for all patients ages 10 years and older. A photocopy or a digital copy (front and back) of the ID card may be used.
Call Ahead to Expedite Your Pharmacy Experience
We encourage all patients to call the pharmacy at 520-533-2520 prior to arriving at the pharmacy to ensure your medications are filled and ready. With the ongoing COVID pandemic, we have a mandatory 24 hour turn around drop off/pick up policy for all prescription written from down-town providers (with the exception of emergency medications.) This system helps to limit the number of patients in the pharmacy lobby at any given time.
Consult a Clinical Pharmacist
Patients can request a consultation with a clinical pharmacist by calling (520)-533-2419 for a polypharmacy appointment.
Medication Disposal
MedSafe is a disposal system for unused and expired medications. The system prevents pharmaceuticals from circulating into community water supplies. The MedSafe receptacle is located in the Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center Outpatient Pharmacy lobby and available for use Monday - Friday, 8 am – 4:15 pm. Please do not place needles, medical waste, batteries, hazardous materials, inhalers, nor illegal drugs in this receptacle.
Pharmacy Formulary
A formulary is a list of prescription drugs, both generic and brand name, used by prescribers to identify drugs that are currently authorized and available. A committee of providers and pharmacists maintain and update the formulary quarterly. For information about the TRICARE Formulary or medications covered, visit the Defense Health Agency web site. A search tool for the TRICARE Formulary is available at the Express-Scripts web site.
Home Delivery Option
With TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery, picking up your prescriptions is as easy as picking up your mail since maintenance medications are delivered right to your home. Get up to a 90-day supply of your long-term medicines. Enjoy free standard shipping, copayments may apply. Create an account with Express-Scripts online. You can also download the mobile app at this link. Or call 877-363-1296 and have your prescription bottle handy. We recommend having a 30-day supply of medication on hand while your first order is processed.

- Call 520-533-1551 any time to request refills.
- For Online prescription refill requests, please visit the TRICARE-Online Site.
- For new electronic prescriptions from off-post providers; we Do Not fill electronic prescriptions until the patient requests them to be filled. Please call 520-533-2520 or drop-off a prescription request form to the pharmacy to have the prescription processed.
- For any hard copy prescriptions from off-post providers: The hard copy prescription will need to be dropped off at the pharmacy to be processed.
