A hospital group with a mission to make healthcare better for patients.

About us

Circle Health Group is the UK’s largest private hospital group, with more than 50 locations nationwide. We combine clinical excellence with peaceful surroundings, where patients are always treated as individuals. People are at the heart of everything we do – whether that’s our talented, passionate staff or the people they care for. Patients always come first, and when it comes to looking after you, being ‘good enough’ never is. We are investing millions of pounds into making our hospitals the best they can be. This funding is boosting our facilities and technology, as well as nurturing the amazing people who work for us. The investment programme saw us named Private Hospital Group of the Year in 2021. In 2021 Circle was featured in Health & Social Care’s 20 Best Companies to Work For, and also placed in the Top 25 Best Big Companies to work for. Since 2019 we have held the Silver Award in The Ministry of Defence's Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme. We offer more than 500 different treatments across 60 specialties, and work with a network of over 6,000 renowned consultants. When you choose to go private with us, we’ll take the time to get to know you and your individual needs, building a bespoke treatment plan that puts you front and centre. Each year we welcome around 296,000 inpatients and 1.7 million outpatients. They trust us to provide the quality, expert-led treatment they deserve. And with 98% of them saying they’ll recommend us to their loved ones, it’s clear we do just that. If you need treatment and you want to speak to a specialist, we’re here for you. Get in touch today and we aim to see you within 48 hours. Alternatively, if you are looking to join a dynamic team in a supportive environment, why not take a look at our extensive range of roles in clinical and non-clinical settings? Get in touch today!

Congratulations and good luck to Katie, Patient Administrator and Jess, Ward Clerk at the Woodlands Hospital. Both Katie and Jess have worked amazingly through their pregnancies and should be commended, but it’s now time for that well earned rest💙. A few weeks ago eight members of the team at The Droitwich Spa Hospital celebrated their time working with us. The sum of their service makes a total of 135 years for our Long Service Awards. We are so lucky to have such hard working and loyal staff who care for our patients and keep the hospital in operation. Some members of staff have been with us 35 years, almost as long as the hospital has been standing! We really appreciate their support and wanted to take the time celebrating them to say thank you! In rural Africa, hernia repairs are one of the most common surgical procedures with 1 in 4 men suffering a hernia within their lifetime. However, these operations are carried out much less frequently and there are an estimated 6.3 million untreated inguinal hernias. Hernia International, with the help of volunteers, provides an opportunity for people to access this much needed procedure. This year's mission was to Muheza, in rural Tanzania. From The Beaumont Hospital, Jaime, Lead Theatre Practitioner; Mr John Hobbiss, Consultant General Surgeon, and Dr Susnerwala, Anaesthetist were met by an additional 4 international Surgeons, an Anaesthetist and an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP). As a team, they participated in 5 days of hernia repair surgeries with completed 51 procedures. Inspiring work and dedication shown by the team, playing a vital part in preventing increased mortality, physical incapacity and reducing the inability for those to work and support families. Thank you to The Bolton News for sharing this news.

Celebrating Good Care Month. Our patients are at the heart of everything we do. This letter from one of our patients at The Harbour Hospital, is a reminder of why we do what we do: caring is not just about health but it’s also about nurturing our patients back to strength and guiding them through their recovery journey.
