Our Lead Cryptography Researcher, Dr Thomas Prest and Dr Adrian Thillard, Principal Security Analyst will be speaking at the Thematic Day on Fault Injection Attacks, Inria Center of the Université de Rennes on Tuesday 1 October 2024 on – “Fault injection attacks on SLH-DSA”. Fault injection attack is a technique often exploited by attackers to extract confidential data from embedded systems. These attacks are becoming more and more complex, for example, with multiple injections or by combining them with covert channel observations. The aim of this day is to bring together the academic, industrial and state communities to create new collaborations, considering the many areas from physics to software, to design. Our Director of Product Security Architecture, sebastien riou, recently spoke with Daniel Nenni of SemiWiki.com on when and how to migrate to Post Quantum Cryptography. Sebastien discusses the practicality of PQC for IoT and embedded systems, open source implementation of NIST PQC finalists, along with sharing our product offering and its strengths over the competition. The most important question being - why do we need to integrate PQC now ? 🚨 PQShield builds NIST-ready PQC in Silicon🥇 We are excited to announce that we’ve designed and built our own fully functional #PQC silicon test chip! It is very likely the first National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)-compliant PQC in silicon. Our CSO Ben Packman caught up with our VP Engineering Graeme Hickey to tell you all about it. Watch the full video and read our blog here: https://hubs.li/Q02N7RcB0 By building our own ASIC, we can demonstrate and test the IP in the way customers will use it and perform security testing in a way that would be practically difficult on a customer product deployed in the field. In addition, the test chip gives us the ability to deep-dive into areas like power utilization, performance, and critically, the efficiency of Side Channel Analysis (SCA) countermeasures. #pqc #asic #nist #cryptography

From Quantum ⚛ to Compliance ✅ How the recent publication of the new National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards has evolved through a culmination of an eight-year cycle of submission, research, and analysis. Read our latest briefing paper on the new standards: https://lnkd.in/eiW2H_zm We are proud to have worked on shaping the new standards. It’s now our duty and responsibility to get the new software and hardware designs into the hands of more organizations, so they can keep us all one step ahead of the attackers. #NIST #FIPS #postquantum #quantumreadiness #quantumsecure #cryptography
