BAD AXE, Mich. (WJRT) - Two people have been charged in connection with a shooting in Bad Axe, where bullets ripped through a house last weekend.

Investigators believe the shooters targeted the wrong home.

Court records show 27-year-old Demondre Williams and 41-year-old Jodi Lee Tibbits, both of Bad Axe, face charges in connection with the shooting reported around 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators believe Williams fired at least 11 gunshots at the home in the 300 block of South Silver Street in Bad Axe. The suspects allegedly were in a dispute with another person, but police say they shot at the wrong house.

Several people were inside the house that was shot up and bullets nearly hit some of them. However, police say nobody was injured in the incident.

Williams and Tibbits are being held on $500,000 bond each.
