MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) - The Four Lakes Task Force, as well as Gladwin and Midland Counties, have filed a motion in Midland Circuit Court to expedite an administrative appeal from a homeowners association.
It comes after the task force announced that construction on the Secord, Smallwood, Edenville and Sanford Dams were suspended because of an appeal from a group of lakeside homeowners.
The Heron Cove Association filed an appeal, challenging the lake-level special assessments.
A hearing is scheduled for March 21.
The hearing is to review the motion to expedite the appeal process.
