EXCLUSIVE: Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith made their first red carpet appearance in a surprisingly cuddly display despite their marriage bombshell last year.

Body Language expert Judi James believes Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith still "want to be seen as a couple" following their latest outing together. Will and Jada shocked fans when they revealed that they had been separated for several years, despite putting on a united front in the public eye.
Now, the pair have made their first joint appearance since the bombshell news was revealed late last year. Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, body language expert Judi said the couple’s “lifestyle and relationship bar” is likely to blame for their seemingly unchanged appearance.
She explained: “Even a long-term separation doesn’t seem to come in the way of them presenting as an idealistic and enviable power couple.”
The expert continued: “Their red carpet display here mimics that of a strongly-bonded and like-minded celebrity couple as they lean together with deeply confident and calm smiles on their faces as though no hiccups or split announcements have occurred.”
Despite their separation now being public knowledge, Will and Jada were still wrapped around each other on the red carpet in poses fans have seen countless times before from them over the years.
Judi explained the unusual choice to continue as if their fans are still in the dark about their split: “They clearly still want to be seen and judged as a couple in some spheres and are clearly showing up to support and endorse each other’s projects.”
Will and Jada stepped out in style last week for the Los Angeles premiere of his newest flick, a reunion with his long-running costar Martin Lawrence in Bad Boys: Ride or Die.
The stars turned heads as Will’s smart black suit featured some hidden floral decals which he paired with a thick chain around his neck and a black beanie pulled haphazardly over his head.

Jada proudly sported her statement short blonde hair and flaunted her figure in a nude-illusion gown as she wrapped her arms around her estranged husband.
The pair were joined by their children, 23-year-old Willow and 25-year-old Jaden as well as 31-year-old Trey, Will’s eldest son from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino.
