Kym Marsh's wild love life – soap icon exes, heartbreaking loss and co-star romance

Kym Marsh, the ex-Coronation Street star, has reportedly fallen head over heels for a dashing theatre co-star who's 19 years her junior.

The romance blossomed after Kym's separation from her third spouse Scott Ratcliff, just 19 months following their glamorous wedding. The actress, aged 46, tied the knot with 34 year old Scott Ratcliff, an ex-soldier, in a grand October 2021 ceremony.

However, the couple have parted ways less than two years later.

Insiders claim that Kym's packed schedule and work responsibilities played a role in the unraveling of the couple's union, despite efforts to navigate their challenges.

"They both really tried to make it work, but the cracks have been there for a while and they were only getting to see each other for one or two days a week at the very most," disclosed a source, reports the Mirror.

"Kym's been so busy, and last year Strictly meant even her weekends were stacked up along with weekdays rehearsing."

The insider further remarked to The Sun, explaining the couple's difficulties: "Scott is based in barracks down south - he's got a very busy career as well."

Kym's first walk down the aisle was with EastEnders' heartthrob Jack Ryder. The pair first crossed paths in a BBC canteen in 2001, when Kym was on Top of the Pops and Jack was playing Jamie Mitchell in EastEnders.
