Matt Willis sparks concern in Love is Blind video as he looks 'unrecognisable'

Matt Willis has left fans concerned for his wellbeing after a recent trailer for his show Love Is Blind hit social media.

Matt Willis looked markedly different as he appeared next to his wife, Emma Willis, in a trailer for the Love Is Blind: UK reunion on Netflix.

The Busted singer wore glasses as he displayed his slim figure in a black suit, while his wife stunned in a white two-piece that showed her toned midriff.

On TikTok one fan wrote: "Matt looks unwell, is he ok?"

Another replied: "Why does Matt Willis look like Jesse Williams all of a sudden?" While a third commented: "He's lost loads of weight."

Emma and Matt are doting parents to three children and frequently team up professionally, recently appearing as co-hosts on Love Is Blind.

Married since 2008, Emma and Matt Willis have navigated through challenging times, particularly as Matt faced his addiction issues.

Matt has been clean for years and his struggle is laid out in the raw documentary Fighting Addiction and Emma revealed her fears about making the programme to Women's Health.

She shared: "It was f***ing terrifying to make it because we always try to be as private as we can be in a public industry, and that was really putting ourselves out there. Even the night before it aired, we were like, 'What is going to happen tomorrow? '."

The Busted bassist, 39, who rose to fame as a member of the group during their rise to prominence in the early 2000s, but by 2005 he had checked into rehab – where he received treatment for alcoholism.

He admitted that he now obsesses over exercise to the point that he is "triggered" if he isn't able to go to the gym.

Speaking on the Happy Place podcast, Matt said: 'Exercise was a big thing for me... when I found it I was completely and utterly addicted to it.'

The musician told podcast host Fearne Cotton: "It was great because everything about it was positive.

"And then it became a problem where if I didn't or something got in the way of it I was triggered or I became angry or upset."

Previously speaking with presenter Matt Johnson and life coach Ben Bidwell in new mental health podcast The Naked Professors, the musician revealed he began experimenting with mind altering substances from the age of seven.

"I was in trouble before the band ended, I was a massive alcoholic," he explained.

"I don't think being in a band made me the way I am. I would have been the same if I worked in Tesco or a bank, I am an addict all the way through."
