The beloved British pub chain has 806 locations across the UK, all famed for their low food and drink prices.

While many customers visit Wetherspoons for its burger and a drink deal, which costs £8.55 in most pubs, there's one item that fans can't wait to see back on menus.

Known as the Brunch Burger, many people are anticipating the return of this American breakfast-inspired meal.

Wetherspoons announced that it would reinstate the meal in honour of Father's Day this June.

It's not the first time the meaty burger has made a triumphant return to the pub chain, having re-appeared last year after a ten-year hiatus.

The burger features a delicious combination of flavours, comprising a three-ounce beef patty, American-style cheese, maple-cured bacon, a free-range fried egg, and a hash brown, all served with a side of chips.

Packed with a staggering 1,234 calories, the burger can be enjoyed as part of a meal with chips and a soft drink for £7.73, while the average price with an alcoholic drink is £9.26.

It has become more expensive since it last returned to menus, though it remains a fan-favourite nonetheless. Wetherspoons-goers took to X, formerly Twitter, to call the burger "amazing", "legendary", and "always a winner".

There's not long until 'Spoons' lovers can get their hands on the burger either, with just weeks between now and its re-debut.

Wetherspoons locations will serve the burger for three days only between Friday, June 14 and Sunday, June 16.

The pub chain's marketing executive, James Vaughan, expressed his excitement about the burgers's return.

He said: "The brunch burger will return by popular demand for one weekend only – and I am confident that customers will welcome its return to mark Father's Day."

However, with its limited availability, customers are encouraged to visit their local Wetherspoons in June to ensure they don't miss out on this nostalgic treat.

Fans of the burger will be able to get the burger outside of breakfast hours too, with the meal available from 11.30am until 11pm.
