We are ready to step into an evening of elegance and impact at the 16th annual American Cancer Society Seattle Hope Gala presented by BDA, LLC on Saturday, September 21st, at The Westin Seattle! This black-tie optional event begins with a lively cocktail reception, followed by a gourmet dinner and a powerful program. You’ll also have the chance to bid on exclusive auction packages, then dance the night away at an after-party with live music 🎶🌟💙 More than 400 business and community leaders will come together to "Light the Path of Hope" for patients with cancer and their families. We had coffee with one of longest team captains for American Cancer Society - Pacific Northwest Relay For Life of Thurston County - Sandee from Laps4Life! Sandee always has the best ideas, she loves to help bring them to life and collaborating with other teams. I know I can ask her opinion or for feedback about anything and she is honest and thoughtful. Laps4Life has a new event they are starting this year so stay tuned when they have details I will share! We’re humbled and overjoyed to announce the 13th Annual Scott DeMartine Memorial Charity Golf Tournament raised over $350,000. Thank you so much to all who have participated in this amazing tradition. This year's funds will be donated to four charities: Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Western Washington & Alaska, the Washington State division of the American Cancer Society, StolenYouth, and Parrott Creek Child & Family Services. American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Thurston County’s 2024 season has come to end- the leadership team set a stretch goal of $475,000 and it was crushed by our community of fierce cancer fighting warriors. The impact made by our Relayers is incredible - they are the most passionate and courageous people I have ever met. They are so driven to support funding of cancer research, patient services , like rides to treatment and lodging, and advocacy. They show up year round to make this impact.
