Today is #NHPIWomensEqualPayDay. In 2022, for every dollar earned by non-Hispanic white men, NHPI women were paid only 66 cents. However, the biggest wage gaps experienced by NHPI women are hidden in aggregated data. The pay gaps can only be addressed if we have full information on how it impacts all Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities. We call for: 1) Passage of the Paycheck Fairness Act, to provide new tools to help close the wage gap, and 2) The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to build upon Statistical Policy Directive (SPD) 15 and its implementation, requiring all federal agencies to collect, analyze, and share public disaggregated information about NHPI communities.

Yesterday, the Biden-Harris Administration awarded $100 million to 44 Navigator grantees in states using HealthCare.gov, which will help immensely in ensuring underserved communities have equitable access to quality healthcare. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/ebmfufYJ

Happy Women's Equality Day! Today, we celebrate the 19th Amendment, which prohibited gender discrimination in voting rights. This was an important step on the pathway to equality among genders.
