Family Equality team members are at the 2024 Democratic National Convention! We’re thrilled to bring the voice of LGBTQ+ families to the Democratic National Convention, where we have a unique opportunity to connect with people in positions of power — including elected officials and potential partners — and advocate for the rights and needs of LGBTQ+ families across the country! ☀️ Family Equality held its first-ever Family Day for BIPOC LGBTQ+ families in the Boston metro and surrounding area to experience the fun of Family Week packed into 24 hours. Our families got to enjoy a poolside paradise, colorful face paintings, shellcraft stations, amazing balloon art, and our annual Family Pride Parade. #FamilyDay2024 was a splash and we thank the beautiful families that helped seas the day! Family Week Day 6!🏳️🌈 Our last full day in Provincetown was packed with so much joy! We filled the streets with music and pride flags in celebration of our families, then gathered at Crown & Anchor for the most incredible dance party. We could not have imagined a better way to wrap up our 30th Anniversary of Family Week! Thank you to everyone who joined us, whether you came over for Family Day or stayed the whole week. You made this experience so special — we can’t wait to see you again next year!💖

Family Week Day 5!🪩 The fun continues!🥳 Last Thursday, we were dancing our hearts out at Family Night — and everyone showed up in totally rad 90s-inspired outfits to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Family Week! We also had plenty of fun at our Provincetown house party, which was graciously hosted by Bryan Rafanelli and Mark Walsh and featured a stellar performance by Miss Richfield 1981. Finally, we had an amazing discussion at our Back to School Q&A: Advocate for your Family in the Classroom at Crown & Anchor. One more day to go!
