On July 10, the European Green Digital Coalition was featured with a panel session at the Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) Digital with Purpose Global Summit 2024 . 💡The panel provided an overview of the EGDC methodology for assessing the net carbon impact of ICT solutions. The speakers shared practical insights and challenges from real-world ICT implementations in cities, discussed advancing sustainability across sectors, and explored green public procurement and SME empowerment strategies. 🌱 The Green Digital Coalition has selected 11 #ICT solutions as Case Studies to showcase how to calculate the net carbon impact of ICT Solutions in key sectors: 💡Energy, 🚛Transport, 🏗️Construction, 🏭Manufacturing, 🌾Agriculture, and 🏙️Smart Cities. The Green Digital Coalition EP Pilot Project's is thrilled to share six Deployment Guidelines for #GreenDigitalTransformation of key sectors: 💡Energy, 🚛Transport, 🏗️Construction, 🏭Manufacturing, 🌾Agriculture, and 🏙️Smart Cities. ✅This set of recommendations helps to maximise carbon, resource and energy savings, minimise ICT solutions' emissions and track and understand other sustainability impacts of the solutions in six key sectors. ➡️Read more: https://lnkd.in/djn8jNDQ #GreenDigitalCoalition #EGDC
