Two of our turkeys, Liberty and Bell, were presented by the National Turkey Federation and formally pardoned by President Joseph R. Biden during the 76th National Thanksgiving Turkey Presentation on the South Lawn of the White House. Steve Lykken, Jennie-O Turkey Store president and NTF chairman, along with Jose Rojas, Jennie-O Turkey Store assistant vice president of live production, took part in the presentation of the turkeys to President Biden.

We shattered the previous GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title of “Largest Donation of Turkeys in 24 Hours” by more than double with our donation of 15,000 whole turkeys today on World Kindness Day. Along with NBC's TODAY and Al Roker , we collaborated with Feeding America to deliver turkeys to Food Bank for New York City in The Bronx, City Harvest in Brooklyn and Greater Chicago Food Depository in Chicago. Broadcasting from New York with Al, the Jennie-O team donated 15,000 turkeys in total, with 7,500 to the NYC area community and 7,500 to the Chicago community, broadcasted by sister station, WMAQ-TV.
