Jubilee works to foster equity and bring about justice through housing—justice housing. Jubilee produces justice housing, which is affordable to those who need it most, coupled with opportunities we all need to succeed, and located in neighborhoods with easy access to resources such as good schools, grocery stores, and public transportation. Opportunities include employment coaching, financial capability training, academic enrichment, and re-entry assistance to those returning from incarceration. Jubilee concentrates on Washington D.C.’s Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights, and Mount Pleasant neighborhoods.

The Washington Business Journal featured an important editorial by Jubilee's president and CEO Jim Knight. We would love to hear your thoughts. "In July, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced the city would meet its 2019 goal of adding 36,000 housing units to the city by 2022. In any context, 36,000 new homes are a major accomplishment. We at Jubilee Housing join the mayor in marking this important outcome, and we believe that D.C. has become a leader in housing production, especially for affordable housing. The success was achieved by creating an ecosystem of collaborators who have worked together to finance, develop and operate much-needed housing in every ward of the city at various price points, with a special focus on deeply affordable units. We are grateful for the small part we played in reaching this goal." #affordablehousing #justicehousing #washington https://lnkd.in/eCkUEXqA

We had a fantastic time at Jubilee's National Night Out! Residents, volunteers, and staff all came together to mix and mingle. Thank you to Ounce of Care and Amerigroup for joining us! The night was filled with good food, face painting, fun activities like giant Connect Four, a water balloon fight, a piñata, and live music. A night to remember! A huge thank you to our incredible Jubilee team who planned and managed this event! #NationalNightOut #JusticeHousing

Our Jubilee Campers have had an amazing time with a variety of activities! From a canoe trip and community service beautification project to a beginner chef’s program where they made their own personal pizzas, and even a medieval show! We need your help to continue providing these experiences to our kids. So far, we have raised $6,730! Whether it’s $5, $10, or $25, any contribution helps us send more kids to summer camp and sustain our Youth Services programs. Any contribution you give in support of these activities will be doubled up to $50,000! Support Camp Jubilee today: https://loom.ly/ZEbHZt8! #CampJubilee #SummerFun #JusticeHousing
