The L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Programs (Literacy, Arts, Culture, Education & Recreation) is a nationally recognized non-profit providing free, award-winning after school programs to middle and high school students in Los Angeles. Each day in four middle schools and two high schools the LACER Mentor/instructors expand learning and opportunities so students can thrive, achieve and become productive citizens of the world.

Please meet one of our August recipients, LACER Afterschool Programs! This organization impacts the community around our Johnny Rockets in Hollywood, CA. For over 28 years the award-winning L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Programs have provided underserved middle and high school students in Los Angeles with free arts, athletics, and academic activities after school. By allowing young people the opportunity to expand their learning, improve their skills and develop new ones in a safe, supportive setting, L.A.C.E.R. fosters scholastic achievement, self-confidence, and good citizenship.
