Tech Tuesday 💡: The need for space-based ISR technology became critical after an American U-2 was shot down over the USSR in 1960. The increased demand for satellite reconnaissance eventually led to the creation of the NRO to build and operate these capabilities. Nearly 65 years later, the NRO is continuously innovating by developing, acquiring, launching, and operating the most advanced capabilities to maintain our edge in space. 🛰️
