Mental Health America published its 2024 State of Mental Health in America report this week, an annual analysis of 15 different mental health measures in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. LEGISLATIVE NEWS: Our sponsored bill, AB 2882 moves on after passing the Senate Public Safety Committee. The bill would ensure the incorporation of more behavioral health stakeholders into local public safety planning. It is essential to have local behavioral health leaders at the table to ensure our efforts across public safety and behavioral health are aligned. Our Director of Government Affairs, Tara Gamboa-Eastman testified about the urgency of this challenge.
