This battery energy storage project, capable of storing over 1GWh of electricity, will provide power to up to 50,000 homes on the APS grid when it’s needed most. The group toured the warehouse and learned about inventory management, including how we supply our sites with equipment such as personal safety apparel and more. They gained valuable insights into the roles of our Power Plant Maintenance and Solar Field Maintenance techs, discovering how they efficiently maintain and operate sites.
