The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists (NLGJA) announced today that The Advocate is the 2024 recipient of the Legacy Award. As the oldest LGBTQ+ publication still in circulation in the United States, The Advocate has had a front-row view of the cultural shifts that have shaped the LGBTQ+ community -- from Stonewall and the AIDS crisis to marriage equality and the ongoing challenges facing transgender and nonbinary people. Many thanks to the NLGJA for this incredible honor.

TWO SERIES FROM THE ADVOCATE CHANNEL LAUNCH ON HULU Get inspired and entertained as two series from the Advocate Channel are now streaming on Hulu this Pride Month! This collaboration brings inclusive and impactful programming, like the groundbreaking series Candis Cayne's Secret Garden and the Out100 Specials, to a wider audience. The launch, perfectly aligned with Pride Month and a part of the Hulu Has Pride celebration, will debut two of the channel's acclaimed series: Candis Cayne's Secret Garden and the Out100 Specials. We toasted Pride and Broadway last night, when we honored The Advocate's Pride coverstar The Wiz's Wayne Brady along with Out coverstar Merrily We Roll Along's Jonathan Groff at NYC's Somewhere, Nowhere. Our community's favorite weather man, WABC-TV's Sam Champion was our host for the night. He also welcomed special appearances by Drag Race's Nina West and Tituss Burgess! Happy Pride everyone!
