We're proud to be working with The Nest Climate Campus on their three-day Climate Week showcase of climate solutions, keynotes, panels, and educational activations. As part of that programming, there will be a Green Jobs Pavilion featuring free workshops, career coaching, and mentorship programs for participating organizations and job seekers. There will also be a BIPOC Green Career Summit in collaboration with Black Girl Environmentalist and BlackOak Collective. TED's newest event TEDNext is happening this October at Atlanta's historic Pullman Yards. An expansion of the TEDWomen mission, TEDNext broadens the program’s gender lens, embracing new ideas and fresh voices from all communities to engage and inspire the next generation of changemakers. We join 60+ businesses across the country in closing our doors and taking part in a national campaign to send a critical message to Congress: It’s time to pass federal paid leave. In honor of Women’s History Month, today is a symbolic look at what could happen if more women exit the workforce and businesses close their doors without the protections of federal paid family and medical leave. A federal paid family and medical leave program would keep more women and caregivers in the workforce; lead to greater gender and racial equity; and make our businesses, our families, and our economy stronger.
