Last week, the Torch team gathered in Nashville for an unforgettable retreat! Instead of diving into work or presentations, we prioritized meaningful conversations, reflection, laughter, and moments of inspiration — reminding ourselves why we do what we do and how we can continue to grow both individually and collectively. It was a time to share our 'why,' strengthen connections, and explore how we can turn the page and step into the next chapter of Torch (and yes, we even squeezed in some karaoke and Topgolf! ⛳). 📣 Proud to see our co-founder Cameron Yarbrough featured in The New York Times! As a licensed therapist turned coach, Cameron brings a unique perspective to leadership development. Through conversations with Cameron, other notable coaches, and therapists, author Daniel Duane surfaced some incredible insights about the importance of coaching for individuals and organizations, and why coaching should be accessible to everyone (we agree!). Torch investor Garry Tan said, “A lot of startups die not because of technical or engineering reasons but purely people reasons.” He's totally right and, while the New York Times article is focused on coaching for tech startups, we know coaching can benefit organizations of every size and in every industry.
