🎧 AI is transforming user research, but how? 🚀 At Userlytics, we've harnessed the power of AI to enhance the way users analyze their test sessions. Traditionally, gathering insights meant watching countless hours of participants interacting with websites, prototypes, and apps. Now, AI speeds up the process by extracting key insights automatically. Alejandro Rivas-Micoud, CEO & Founder of Userlytics: "AI enables us to do a lot of things better or easier." 🔗 Curious to learn more about the future of UX research? Your brand identity is more than just a logo—it's how you connect with your audience. Use Preference Testing early in the design phase to stay on the right path. Preference Testing lets you understand what your audience likes right from the beginning. UX researchers and designers can see which design users prefer early on. Is it like A/B testing? "If you don't have a team in place, but want to approach UX research nonetheless, build up your knowledge base first While AI tools are useful, education is key. Learning the basics of human-centered design, personas, and user journeys, will serve you better in the long run. Start with the basics, even if it's free courses on YouTube or LinkedIn. Invest time and resources in building your knowledge base to conduct user research effectively." "Involve users early and often in the design process in order to avoid designing for yourself." Eniola, Lead UX Researcher at Meta , thinks that working within an agile framework allows UX researchers to collect feedback often enough to create great products. This iterative approach helps avoid designing products based on the designer's preferences instead of the needs of those who'll use it. By conducting frequent testing and involving different team members, the design process becomes more collaborative and user-centered. Do you agree? What biases might AI tools introduce in UX research? Eniola Abioye, Lead UX Researcher at Meta : "AI tools don't inherently introduce biases, but they can lead to a lack of intentionality in research design and strategy. The efficiency you gain by using AI tools shouldn't make you take a step back from conducting research. It remains a high-touch field. While AI can assist with logistics, relying on it to lead research can be risky."
