🎉 June is National Reunification Month! 🎉 As the month comes to a close, we are reflecting on our Kent County Reunification Celebration that we hosted at John Ball Zoo on Monday, June 17. Despite the heat advisory, we had a great turnout! Together, we celebrated with community partners, our network, families and our team recognizing successes, reaffirming our commitment to families, and our primary goal of family reunification. We heard from leaders and partners on the importance of family reunification and highlighted stories of families who overcome challenges to be reunited. Reunification is always the goal! 🥳 Thanks to many partners who helped make this event special including Kent County, Michigan Department of Health & Human Services, Wellspring Lutheran Services, Bethany Christian Services, Samaritas, D.A. Blodgett - St. John's, Catholic Charities West Michigan, CASA of Kent County, and many more.
