Brazil will take over the G20 presidency in a month. PATRI will follow the forum's discussions and their developments regarding public policies, both domestically and internationally. In line with its foreign policy, Brazil will adopt three priorities in the G20: fight against hunger and inequalities; energy transition and climate change; and reform of the global governance. This will be the first time that Brazil will host the G20 since it was elevated to the level of Heads of State and Government in 2008, in the context of the financial crisis. Following the Indian and Indonesian presidencies, Brazil will use the events to present itself as a Global South leader, seeking to build consensus and break through polarization. Check out PATRI's special product on the initial perspectives for the Brazilian G20 presidency.
