Enforcement of Rule 27


​The Legislative Equity Office enforces Legislative Branch Rule 27 which prohibits harassment, discrimination and retaliation relating to legislative activities. The rule is designed to provide options to those who are experiencing or observing harassing behavior, discriminatory behavior or other prohibited behavior to seek information, make reports or file complaints to address and resolve concerns. Individuals seeking support or help may reach out to the Legislative Equity Officer for a confidential discussion.

​​Individuals seeking to report harassment, discrimination, or retaliation can do so by contacting the Legislative Equity Office. 
  1. Make an anonymous report (link to the form, here)
  2. Make a report directly to the LEO
  3. Make a confidential disclosure, ask questions and learn more about your rights from the LEO
  4. File a complaint with our office. Note that a conduct complaint by persons who have experienced or directly observed harassment, discrimination or retaliation is a public record AND may immediately result in an investigation upon review and approval by the LEO or investigator. Please download the Conduct Complaint form and submit it to the LEO.
