Opportunities for Commissioned Officers
Working at the U.S. Military Academy (USMA) at West Point is a personally and professionally rewarding experience. West Point employs a number of military staff and faculty in a variety of roles - both inside and outside of the classroom. Regardless of the position, teaching at USMA means developing the next generation of Army officer as well as being part of the intellectual center of the Army at a unique, historic post about one hour from New York City. Military faculty do NOT need to be a West Point graduate to apply.
Opportunities for Non-Commissioned Officers
Non-Commissioned Officers can serve at the US Military Academy in several capacities - each instrumental in the development of the next generation of Army officer. NCOs selected for a tour at West Point are leaders in their career field. The assignment is highly selective and extremly rewarding.
Opportunities for Civilians
Civilians can serve at West Point in the classroom as faculty, or in various other roles supporting the systems and processes required to operate a college campus and robust military installation.
