Information about how to update your contact details, change your password, find your Which? membership number and more.

Resetting your password

To reset your password when not logged in, click here, and enter your registered email address. A password reset link will be sent to your email. Select the link in the email and enter your new password twice as requested. Your password must be at least 8 characters long (up to 32) and include at least one letter and one number or symbol (!\"$%^&*()_+=-).

Issues logging into the Which? website

If you're experiencing issues logging in to your Which? account, you could try clearing your cache and cookies. Your web browser will store some information from the websites you visit in its cache and cookies such as passwords. On occasion, this stored information can cause login issues.

You can find instructions on how to delete your cache and cookies for the most common browsers below. Just remember to close and reopen your browser before re-entering your passwords and select ‘passwords’ if you are provided with a drop-down list: 

If your browser is not listed above, check your current browser's support page for instructions. If you've tried the above options and continue to have problems logging in, try using an alternative browser. 

Changing your username 

By updating your email address through ‘My Account’, you also update your username for the website. You use your email address to log on to the Which? website and once this is changed, you will need to use the updated email address to log on. 

Access to product reviews online

Accessing our expert product reviews requires a subscription to Which.co.uk and for members to be logged in using their unique login details.

Updating your details

You can update your delivery address, name, phone number, email address (also your username), and password by logging into 'My Account' and clicking 'My Details'. If you have forgotten your password and are unable to log in, click here

Finding your membership number

You can find your membership number in the welcome pack we sent you when you joined us.If you get Which? magazines as part of your membership, you can also find the number on the letter that comes with it. The number is usually a letter followed by nine digits, eg H123456789.

You can also view your Which? membership number within the 'my details' section of your account if you have login access as part of your subscription: 

  1. Visit which.co.uk and click 'log in' in the top right corner
  2. Click 'my account', then click 'view account'
  3. Click 'my details'
  4. Your membership number will be displayed at the top of the page - this helps us find your account. The number may change if you take out another subscription and you only need one of the numbers to help us find your account.

Magazine archive

You can read past copies of Which? magazine with full access or digital subscriptions through ‘My Account’ or the Which? app. To access them through the magazine archive, go to my account and select the magazine archive. The archive will open in a new tab in your browser and you will be able to browse past issues of Which? Magazine.
