How good is Santander at handling claims?

The latest data from the Financial Conduct Authority shows that Chubb European Group SE (Santander's underwriter) paid 80-85% of claims made on annual European policies, and also on single-trip policies, in 2022. 

This was higher than the average acceptance rate for annual European cover (76%) and also single-trip cover (73%).
