We like: Different colours of oven
We don’t like: Price
The DeliVita Wood Fired pizza is one of the most expensive we've tested.
Each oven is handmade, and you're called by a member of its team to help you set it up.
The interior of the oven is made from stone and clay, which DeliVita claims can also be used to cook fish and meat.

We like: More affordable option
We don’t like: Not as big as other pizza ovens
The VonHaus pizza oven is a fairly simple wood-fired pizza oven that uses wooden pellets as fuel.
It comes with a detachable metal handle, which is helpful for cooking. However, its size means you can only make pizzas up to 11 inches.

What to consider before buying a pizza oven
A pizza oven isn't a cheap investment, which is why we recommend doing research before putting your hand in your pocket.
If you are ready to make a purchase, consider:
- What sort of fuel will your pizza oven run on? Pizza ovens tend to use four fuel sources: gas, electricity, charcoal or wood.
- Where do you want to use your pizza oven? This could dictate the size and weight of the model you choose.
- What tools do you need? Generally, you will need to buy additional tools when using your pizza oven, including a pizza peel and turning peel. We've listed our five top pizza accessories.
- Do you want to cook something other than pizza? Consider how versatile and easy to clean the oven is.
