Came here for a group dinner.

The reservation process was kind of a nightmare. It only lets you reserve up to 10 people online. I needed 15. No one EVER picked up the phone or answered my email (the voicemail tells you to send an email...) for the week I tried to be in touch. When I show up (early, to get things squared away), the hostess was great but the server started off with a super bad attitude, including saying they can't split checks at all (even though she offered to at the end?) & insisting we would not fit (which we easily did)

      ANYWAY.

The food was good. All 15 people got the correct order, which was a minor miracle. Basically everything came out together (another miracle), but one person waited a SUPER long time for her stuff. Drinks were also tasty.

They don't do a large party service charge, surprisingly. But they earned 20% gratuity!

Not a ton of creative vegan options, but I could get veggie tacos & black beans so I consider that a success.

We sat outside under the heaters on a fall night & were not cold at all. (We were also basically shoulder to shoulder which probably helped lol). Parking of course sucks because it's Union St, spare yourself the pain & use the garage across the street

Came to Flores for a Sunday night dinner. We were able to put our name on the list and had a good 1.5 hour wait as it was peak dinner time. We showed up when we got the text and had a 10 minute wait for our table.

Once our party of 5 were seated, it was 10-15 minutes until a server ever came by to bring waters and menus. I get it's extremely busy, but if we have menus we can take some time and decide instead of just sitting there.

My boyfriend and I ordered a selection of 6 tacos as well as some other entrees to split with our party. The tacos were delicious! We got a mix of carnitas, colorado, chicken tinga, and pescado. The corn tortilla was by far the best corn tortilla I've had.

      We split the following entrees:
      - Guacamole
      - Carnitas
      - Chicken Tinga
      - Churros

Guacamole is really basic. Carnitas and chicken tinga were good. Churros were so yum!! For me, I would come back and get tacos only next time!

Service could definitely be improved, but the food was great!

Came here for brunch before heading out for some day drinking in the Marina.

We started the meal off with a pitcher of margarita, which was super tasty and a really good value. Definitely felt a nice buzz from the pitcher alone.

For food we started with the queso fundido, which was not my fav. First off there wasn't as much cheese as I would expect, just a top layer, and big pieces of onion and mushroom. Staff knew we weren't a huge fan, and made it right, which is much appreciated.

For the main, we decided to go with the 6 taco plate. Presentation wise, loved it. The tortillas you can tell were hand made, although I wish they grilled em a bit longer. The only taco I really enjoyed with the fried fish one. The carnitas and Colorado meAt were both on the drier side.

My friend made a reservation through Yelp the night before and the staff was able to accommodate us running 15 minutes late. From a customer service stand point, this place was 5-stars all around. Everyone was polite and attentive and open to feedback about the dishes which is good.

If you are looking for good margaritas and tasty fish tacos, they do that really well here. Definitely the top two things I'd go back for. The ambiance makes this a great spot for date night.

I loved my experience at Flores! Super chic restaurant in a nice area of San Francisco. Flores had pretty standard pricing for SF & it was fairly busy when my friend and I went on a Wednesday night. The tacos were delicious, but I must say the carnitas tacos won out over the carne asada by a mile. The guacamole and chips were a great appetizer and the service was fantastic even sitting in the bar area. I will definitely be back!

Enjoyed very tasty cocktails. I recommend a vodka Paloma.

The guacamole is heaven! Nice and fresh tasting and limey.

The chips also are crispy and fresh.

The ceviche is in a thin red sauce, yummy and flavorful.

The enchiladas seemed small for the price. My partner enjoyed them.

The Chile Relleno was tender and flavorful. The sauce wasn't spicy for me and I thought it was super yummy. However, the stuffing of the pepper was disappointing. I was expecting cheese, spinach and mushroom. The majority of the stuffing was large chunks of onion, which were overpowering. I couldn't eat a single bite without having to pick hunks of onions out of my mouth. Luckily my partner either loves me enough not to care or was already drunk. There was also an entire clove of garlic buried in there. If onions and whole cloves of garlic aren't your thing, I might skip the pepper. (Or ask if they can make the stuffing without onions?) Aside from the abundance of alliums, it was quite nice.

At 9pm on a rainy Tuesday, the ambiance was nice, servers great. I would go back.

Chile relleno. Sauce is delicious and not too spicy. The pepper is flavorful and tender. It is stuffed with large chunks of onion.
Chile Relleno. Good flavor. Stuffed with large chunks of onion.

My favorite things about this spot? The bearded bartender who doubled as our server, moody intimate vibes, extremely fast service... oh and the outdoor heaters yeeee.

The food was alright. Heavily seasoned and thick hearty portions. This is a good place to bring a group of people with an appetite.

Next time I visit I'll try the churros.

      What I liked:
Easy to reserve online, drinks, appetizers and churros

      What I disliked:
Tacos were not that great, it's pretty loud and hard to have a conversation

A solid 3.5 star for Flores. We had a great time at this place; from service, to drinks, appetizer everything was pretty good. My favorite part was the appetizer, tried the Guacamole an QUESADILLA DE HONGOS. Quesadilla was fantastic and guacamole was very fresh. Highly recommend both of them.

As for drinks I tried both their margs and Oaxacan old fashioned. I liked the mezcal drink better.

The tacos were the part that I think they came out short. I would give a 2/5 to their chicken, beef and fish tacos. They were not very flavorful and I would give the pork one a 4/5.

As for the dessert, we tried the churros and OMG they were soooooo good. The dipping was great. I Highly recommend it.

Given the convenience of booking, solid service, drinks and apps, I would give it a 3.5 stars.

Absolutely wonderful meal. From that first bite, I couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. I had the chicken enchiladas and my husband had the carnitas.
We are visitors to SF and am so disappointed that I won't be able to eat here again! All I can do is dream about it.
