Not bad considering they neighborhood. Not the best considering the neighborhood.

Maybe I lean towards the more authentic flair of tacos, but overpriced tacos do promise a lot, considering it's one of the main staple in California.

Location- easy to park, if you're lucky
Dining- if you want to talk to your friends, or somewhere far from the bar. They have outside seating

      Beverage- good selection

Food- this is where I wish it was great, but ended up being just okay. The tortilla was good, but thick. The fish was fried well, but honestly, lacks seasoning. The pickles added to it was good. Aside from that, the fish lacks depth.

Great ambiance, great service. Strong alcoholic drinks. We ordered the TOSTADAS DE ATUN which had raw tuna, aioli, avocado, and red onions. I ordered the Asada plate, which had beef, mexican rice, beans, and eggs on top. Very tasty. All of us enjoyed the restaurant and would go back.

Really mediocre Mexican food. I have lived in the neighborhood for a couple years and finally went. Flat, uninspired, pretentious.

And pretty spendy too. I'd go to Tacko before I'd go here again.

Went to Flores because we found it on the Michelin guide and it did not disappoint. Delicious tapas and great drinks. Unfortunately not too many vegan/vegetarian options and the salad I got had a little too much dressing but other than that, really delicious!

      Meh
Food was just ok. Nothing to write home about. Guac was ok.
The tacos were basic. Salad was basic.
      Nothing stood out.
      Place kept dimming the lights.

The food was delicious , and homestyle. Tasty tacos and bowls. timely service and homely ambiance.
The only thing that's slightly off is the menu coverage. There's no dedicated meat entrees. For a restaurant this size, I'd expect that.

Came here with a group of 4 and we did family style. Definitely recommend getting a reservation since it was packed.

We got 2 pitchers, which was great to start off. The highlights were definitely the queso and churros (5/5): the rest of the food was good, but nothing super noteworthy. Definitely a fun place to go on a Friday or Saturday night though.

Everything was perfect. Had a zero ABV margarita like cocktail, shared the potato flaky as and mushroom quesadilla. I tried all the tacos except pork. Each was authentic and very high quality. Our table also got a bowl and the carne asada plate which were excellent. Tres leches cake was more like a coconut crème cake. But delicious. Churros are a must do too. The chocolate dipping sauce was so good we drank it. The Carmel was a bit runny. Both were optional as the churro is excellent.

Decor is stylish and antique modern. Loved the cork ceiling to keep noise down and the day of the dead motif in the bathrooms.

      Yum!
