    About the Business

Toulouse is centered around the cuisine, décor, and imagery of the French Quarter and New Orleans. Our menu is expansive and ambitious, featuring traditional creole and French Quarter preparations, charcuterie, USDA prime steaks, fresh seafood, and one of the most extensive cold kitchen menus (garde manger) in the country. We believe we offer the greatest dining value found anywhere, which is then coupled with a richly textured decorative experience that was crafted with sincerity and conviction that we were making something of lasting and genuine value. We also serve a Happy Hour menu that we believe is simply the most compelling in the nation. It features more than fifty preparations and is served from 4 pm to 6 pm and from 10 pm to 11:30 pm.

It is a nice restaurant with good food but...
First we had a party of 10 for a graduation/birthday. We arrived early and they got us seated right away. My first problem was when they brought the waters I happened to look in mine and there was a hair stuck on the lemon I topped it with I showed the waitress and she started to make excuses that it was not human it was from the skewer that held the lemon on top. It was a human beard or something. She replaced it with attitude. My wife took a drink of her water then realized there was lipstick all over the rim. I was pretty weary at this point but we started getting our appetizers. All of the food was delicious but then, it came time for dessert and that is when my wife asked for the menu and we were told no because they needed the table. They knew we were celebrating my niece's birthday and college graduation. My wife then looked at her like no, we are not leaving. She said let me ask my manager. She then came back with two menus and said "okay, yeah my manager said you can have more dessert" (my niece got dessert for her birthday and graduation). So we did order the bananas flambé and bread pudding they were great along with all the food until the end of the bread pudding and my sister pulled a 10" hair out of the middle of it. I am giving 3 stars because the food was excellent, but the attitude of the server (she was getting her 20% either way because we were a party of ten) and the cleanliness were unacceptable, if I was rating solely on those things, they'd be getting one star.

      Wow. Just wow!

To start with, the ambiance here is warm and engaging, it's like stepping into a warm hug.

The service (while a bit slow) was friendly and professional. Our waiter's suggestions were appreciated.

I ordered the foraged mushroom and butternut squash, gnocchi. Let me say, it almost made me weep. Definitely love at first bite, and I would order it again, and again, and again! Yes it was that damn good! Mr Wonderful ordered the Oysters Benedict and there wasn't a morsel left on his plate.

To end our meal, we had beignets.

Positively a 5 out of 5 and we are looking forward to returning.

This place was amazing. I came here with my sister and we loved it. The ambiance was so beautiful if you go during the evening. We also enjoyed both the dishes we had. Service was great and I would definitely come again.

In general is a good place for brunch, a little bit overrated in my opinion. But it's worth to give it a try. The place is old with a lot of character.

It's located near to the seattle center (space needle), parking might be an issue and my advise would be so not leave valuables in your car. Eeeek!!

Reservations encouraged, there was a huge waiting line at 9am on a Sunday.

The portions are generous, we ordered the Benedict's eggs (good but nothing special). For coffee they will bring one small pot enough for 4 cups of coffee.

Great service, we didn't have to wait our food came up very quick.

PS: good for families, and they have kids menu.

Toulouse Petit is insanely overrated. I was not impressed by the food quality at all and somehow ended up with a bill that was over a hundred bucks for two people. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I don't know why this is rated so well. The only thing that wasn't bad was the serving size, but if you have standards, you probably won't want to eat the whole portion anyways.

Prosciutto San Daniel, Yellow Corn, and Oyster Mushrooms with Housemade Ricotta Gnocchi (2.5/5): This had the potential to be good as all the toppings work together really well: the salinity of the prosciutto with sweet corn and earthy mushrooms could have been a winning combination. Unfortunately, the gnocchi was TERRIBLE. They were literally hard, not chewy and the texture made them almost inedible. Because I didn't want to eat the bland, carby bricks, I was left with a plate of very salty sauce to slowly make my way through.

Beignets (1.5/5): The actual fry on the beignet was solid enough, the outside had a small crunch before biting in, but the inside is super dense, not fluffy at all, which is what I feel like is 90% of what you want in a beignet. Expensive and subpar in quality, which is a running theme at this restaurant.

Airy and bright, yet cozy! Friendly service and generous portions at a reasonable price. The quality of the food is excellent and we genuinely love coming here whenever we are in the area.

It's a popular place, especially for brunch so I'd recommend making a reservation. However, the space is huge, so if you didn't have a reservation, I doubt you'd wait for too long.

The Beignets are an absolute must and the Acadiana Benedict is to die for. Love the BBQ shrimp shrimp and grits as well. Can't wait to go back!

Restaurant has good vibe in lower Queen Anne district. Parking can be tricky as there's only street parking available. Service staffs are friendly and very accommodating to our large group's reservation. Menu has Creole and seafood selections which are all very tasty with generous portion's- see below pictures. Restaurant gets busy but staffs are attentive. You won't be disappointed by their service nor food. Hope you get to experience Toulouse Petit. Bon appetite!

Food came out quickly and was very filling. The restaurant has great natural lighting with plenty of window seating available.
I got the po boy, which was balanced and the number of options for protein covers a most people's preferences.

We went for brunch with friends. Had a good time overall, but I wouldn't go back as the food and ambient were mediocre.

Food quality can really be improved, especially the beignets. I expect beignets to be light, fresh and a bit sweet, but they were heavy, over fried and very sweet.

The cafe environment can use better ventilation. I felt like it was a bit stuffy and not as pleasant.

I don't recall anything problems with the service, I think they did well in that regard.

Pro's: Oh my, it is beautiful inside. Expansive menu.
Con's: Oh yike was it loud.
Go Back?: Yes, at a slow time when not so loud.

I walked into this restaurant and was blown away by the decor. It is sexy and romantic with many many teeny tiny tea lights lit around the bar and on the walls. (I went in the evening.).

The menu was expansive - so hard to pick out what to eat. I picked the fried green tomatoes with Dungeness crab. The tomatoes were spot-on. I was disappointed that the crab was a salad, so mayonaissed-up. Could have used less mayonaisse. I chose duck confit over brussels sprouts. The duck got a little dried out and the sprouts were definitely al dente.

I wanted to love this restaurant because of the eye appeal. I would try it again but never again during a busy time. Maybe brunch? It was uncomfortably loud - hard to hear my tablemates. Just acoustics, not music or anything they did overtly. I'd go back here for happy hour with a date!
