About the Business
Toulouse is centered around the cuisine, décor, and imagery of the French Quarter and New Orleans. Our menu is expansive and ambitious, featuring traditional creole and French Quarter preparations, charcuterie, USDA prime steaks, fresh seafood, and one of the most extensive cold kitchen menus (garde manger) in the country. We believe we offer the greatest dining value found anywhere, which is then coupled with a richly textured decorative experience that was crafted with sincerity and conviction that we were making something of lasting and genuine value. We also serve a Happy Hour menu that we believe is simply the most compelling in the nation. It features more than fifty preparations and is served from 4 pm to 6 pm and from 10 pm to 11:30 pm.

It is a nice restaurant with good food but...
First we had a party of 10 for a graduation/birthday. We arrived early and they got us seated right away. My first problem was when they brought the waters I happened to look in mine and there was a hair stuck on the lemon I topped it with I showed the waitress and she started to make excuses that it was not human it was from the skewer that held the lemon on top. It was a human beard or something. She replaced it with attitude. My wife took a drink of her water then realized there was lipstick all over the rim. I was pretty weary at this point but we started getting our appetizers. All of the food was delicious but then, it came time for dessert and that is when my wife asked for the menu and we were told no because they needed the table. They knew we were celebrating my niece's birthday and college graduation. My wife then looked at her like no, we are not leaving. She said let me ask my manager. She then came back with two menus and said "okay, yeah my manager said you can have more dessert" (my niece got dessert for her birthday and graduation). So we did order the bananas flambé and bread pudding they were great along with all the food until the end of the bread pudding and my sister pulled a 10" hair out of the middle of it. I am giving 3 stars because the food was excellent, but the attitude of the server (she was getting her 20% either way because we were a party of ten) and the cleanliness were unacceptable, if I was rating solely on those things, they'd be getting one star.Helpful 11Thanks 5Love this 2Oh no 6 - Jessica G.GA, GA01045Jul 5, 2024
I happened upon this restaurant when I was doing research for our trip to Seattle. When a restaurant puts such details in their menu describing the love and care that was put into the creation of the restaurant, you get the feeling that this is more of an experience than a restaurant. My husband and I were lucky enough to have dinner here on our last evening in Seattle. What a gorgeous setting for a phenomenal meal! Our server was wonderful. My husband had the pork chop and I had the pork shoulder gnocchi. They were both fabulous! We shared the delectable bread pudding for dessert!

Another trip to Seattle therefore another stop at Toulouse Petit.
Great food, this time we stayed away from the cheese platter not to be disappointed.
Jambalaya was good, a tad spicy. The muffaleta was not really an OG New Orleans style, but was good. However the MVP this time was the oyster mushroom, corn and ricotta gnocchi, suuuuper flavorful.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Jan 21, 2022Previous reviewI remembered this place from last time I was in Seattle and made it a point to stop by again.
Their menu seem to have changed.
I got the gumbo, it was alright, but why do they feel the need to add fried chicken? That's not how you make gumbo, I feel like they wanted to add it since there's this craziness going around for fried chicken sandos.
Got one cheese as well and sweet lord it was the size of my thumb and we paid $7 for it.
A tad disappointed in the beignets, were pretty heavy and bready, not really donut like.
Overall pretty disappointed and I doubt I'll be back.Jan 18, 2019Previous review*me in a low voice*
Wherever you are, creole food, I will find you, and I will eat you.
Weekend trip in Seattle and I have been recommended Toulouse Petit for its amazing creole cuisine, and as I am a New Orleans fanatic, I had to come down here and see for myself if this place is actually as good as people say it is. Spoiler alert: it is.
I was told to make reservations as it tends to get pretty packed, which is absolutely true, I made a reservation for 2, 3 days in advance and they only had two times lots left.
We were seated right away and got drinks very quick. Had the housemate boar-garlic sausage as an appetizer between the two of us. The portion was very small, so what you get is basically a taste of it, but it was a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y delicious.
For the main, we had the gumbo and the jambalaya, classic New Orleans. The portions were big and fulfilling, very very tasty as well as spicy. I believe the prices are fair as well, not too expensive.
Would definitely come again when in Seattle! - Feb 6, 2024
Soooo many choices in the menu! It's a little overwhelming but, the Food was good and came out quickly. I do wish that the English muffin in the eggs Benedict was a little more crispy. It was kind of mushy and almost seemed non existent under its toppings. The French toast was wonderful though and so were the beignets. I had to flag down the server every time I needed something and no one came to fill my water or check in but they were slammed on a Sunday morning and not a lot of servers so understandable. It's quite noisy so if you're hard of hearing this place could be a challenge. But as I said the food is decent here and comes out quickly so if you're on your way to a show or a game in the area this is a great place to go to beforehand.

This restaurant was such a great find! We went there on a Monday night for dinner. The food was amazing... their fench bread with butter was sooo yummy (we had to order it a second time). Also the halibut dish was one of the best I've ever tasted. The servers were courteous, the ambiance was fun and the restaurant was clean.

This restaurant offers a very wide selection of dishes. The ambiance is of a quiet dinner date and the service is fast on slow days but can get pretty bogged down on busier days. Most of the dishes come out quite tasty but some of the dishes are a little bit drier.

the service was good, the food was okay. This restaurant insists upon itself and feels like a diner cosplaying as fine dining. The menu was a light novel with almost every item being reused in other dishes. this place could be great if they focused on perfecting some dishes and doing a better job on plating. Maybe if i was 21 i would be so drunk off of happy hour the food and menu would of impressed me.

Really great place we found when visiting Seattle for the evening. Absolutely stunning interior with votive candles everywhere, mosaic tile, and cascading lamps over the dining tables.
We had reservations and were seated promptly. Our server had a heads up on my gluten allergy and was able to help us navigate the very extensive menu. There were so many pages of so many tantalizing dishes that it really made choosing difficult.
We settled on 3 cheeses and a bibb salad to start. The brie was out of this world, and they even brought out cucumber slices (without me asking) for me to have it with since I couldn't have the bread. The husband of mine was very pleased with his gnocchi he ordered, and my New Orleans style rockfish and shrimp and side of grits were amazing. The flavor of the Cajun bouillon was unbelievable. The husband had a beignet and ice cream for dessert, which he enjoyed, and my trio of creme brulees and port were the perfect ending.
Definitely a winner..can't wait to come back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 31, 2023
We came here for brunch on Memorial Day with some friends. We got a table for 5, sat down and looked at the menu and it was a bit overwhelming... there's so much to choose from! But I'm a midwestern boy so I was drawn to chicken fried chicken. The menu has good drink specials too. The decor was nice and so was the staff.
4/5 Beignets - very good with the sauce
4/5 Chicken fried chicken - the sauce was interesting, but I liked it. Never had this before.
3/5 Paloma
4/5 Regular margarita
I would recommend.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
