About the Business
Toulouse is centered around the cuisine, décor, and imagery of the French Quarter and New Orleans. Our menu is expansive and ambitious, featuring traditional creole and French Quarter preparations, charcuterie, USDA prime steaks, fresh seafood, and one of the most extensive cold kitchen menus (garde manger) in the country. We believe we offer the greatest dining value found anywhere, which is then coupled with a richly textured decorative experience that was crafted with sincerity and conviction that we were making something of lasting and genuine value. We also serve a Happy Hour menu that we believe is simply the most compelling in the nation. It features more than fifty preparations and is served from 4 pm to 6 pm and from 10 pm to 11:30 pm.

Everything here is CRAZY GOOD. Service is top notch. The interior decor is incredible & such a vibe !! Great for any occasion. Family friendly but also perfect for date nights or going out with coworkers. The menu is extensive.. there will definitely be something for everyone. We had the oysters, French onion soup, Catalan style prawns w/ chorizo, halibut & dungeness crab dish and the bibb lettuce, pistachio& arugula salad. All amazing. Highly recommend!!

We had a fantastic experience coming to dinner at Toulouse Petit. It's been on my list of places to try for many years and I was not disappointed! The staff were great, knowledgeable and attentive without being too in your face.
The space is gorgeous, I love the candles everywhere and the windows where I had a perfect view of the Space Needle. I will say, I thought the TVs playing sports in the bar area were a little weird? I'm a huge football and baseball fan but for a nicer dining experience it seemed strange. Distracting for sure and just seemed out of place with the rest of the restaurant.
The food and drinks!! I really can't say enough good things. We got the "Five of the World's Finest Cheeses" and added the prosciutto and I really can't argue with that title after trying them all. I'm not normally a blue cheese fan but this one was delicious. My favorites were the brie or the Twin Sisters. The steak frites were perfect, perfectly cooked steak, insanely good flavor. The fries were nice and crispy, well seasoned too. The serving size was good enough for two people too which is nice since it is at a higher price point. The drinks were also great, my favorite was the Toulouse Hurricane.
Absolutely recommend!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Feb 20, 2024
I had a lot of hope for this place since it came recommended by a friend, however I thought it was mid. The menu was very overwhelming with so many options. This could be a good thing, but if you're like me and have decision paralysis then it's definitely not.
The food was pretty decent, but expensive for the quality. I got the andouille sausage hash which has almost too much flavor. My partner got the fennel tagliatelle pasta which was too peppery in my opinion.
The restaurant was decorated super nicely. I am super curious how they light all the candles on the walls. And also what do they do when they go out? Props to them for the cute decor!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 19, 2024
Food: 3.5/5 - I got the meatloaf, my party got the duck confit, creole hash, SRF kurobota, and ricotta gnocchi/fried sage. I tried everything besides the duck confit; nothing was outstanding, in fact, the SRF kurobota was too black peppery. Overall, the food was quite expensive for its quality. We were charged an additional 20% due to going on president's day (holiday). Food menu was very overwhelming too.
Service: 3.75/5 standard, they don't refill your water unless you ask and they seemed kind, but nothing special
Ambiance: 4.5/5 great interior decor with candle lighting! But more casual, at least for lunch, because it was quite noisy as the restaurant is bustling.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 28, 2024
I really loved this place. Wish we came for brunch because I've heard the vibes are great, but we did dinner instead and loved it. We came to find this spot by pure chance; we were walking around Kerry Park at night (best view ever) and decided to go down and found this spot. I like the Cajun spin and extensive menu. We loved all options, so hard to choose. We ended up getting the pork chop and the AR Lamb and Pine nut Sausage Rigatoni (which was a little spicier than I thought it'd be). The food is delicious, and the service was quick and great. Would love to come back and try brunch here.

Three years ago, we visited this establishment and had such a great experience that we returned the very next day and had another amazing experience. This is why we made it a point to return, as my daughter--who is now starting her first year at UW--remembered how great the food and service and ambience was, that she requested that this be our last family dinner together, before I fly back to Hawaii.
We made a 9pm dinner reservation--it was quite easy to do, using the Open Table app, as they don't take phone reservations.
We arrived, via Über, at 8:55pm, walked in and were told that there would be a 10-minute wait. We waited for longer than 10-minutes, were seated, and no one came to our table until 9:37pm. I was surprised, as--although I acknowledge they were busy--customer service seems to be lacking. The server didn't introduce herself and just said "Hi...." then took our order.
The food took too long. The temperature of the food was okay and the flavor was lacking. Unfortunately, we did not return, as we had in our previous visits to Seattle.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0Mar 17, 2019Previous reviewTried this place two nights in a row. We had a great experience the first time--wanted to have another.
Tips:
PARKING - Street parking is available. Best to Über or Lyft.
HAPPY HOUR MENU - One order good for 2-person share. We tried different dishes to allow our palates to explore. Our favorites include: Manila Clams with Red Basil and Shallots, Buttermilk Fried Chicken Bites, and Pan Seared Diver Sea Scallops.
RESTROOMS - Clean, consistent with theme; male and female comfort stations.
AMBIENCE- Dimly lit, welcoming, noise level appropriate depending upon time of dining.
SERVICE - Prompt, polite, knowledgeable of menu offerings. Food arrived at decent times.
FULL BAR - The only bummer was not being able to have our beer on tap. There are two TVs in bar area; able to view from almost everywhere in restaurant.
DESSERT - Mimics items that would be plentiful in Louisiana. I made sure my party enjoyed Buttermilk Beignets! - May 26, 2024
Such an amazing experience! The place is beautiful, the food is delicious and favorful, and the staff were great with recommending dishes to us because I am very indecisive - especially because they have so many options to choose from! We got the pork shoulder gnocchi and the fried chicken gumbo - both were mouth watering and a had the perfect spice level for us! I can't wait to return and try their other dishes.

As a New Orleanian visiting Seattle, I love a good culinary delight. This place and the service exceeds my expectations. The staff is kind and helpful with good recommendations. I had the pink (something) and the French 77. Both stands on their own. For food--I had the crawfish beginets--Solid AF. Make sure you dip your beginet in the tomato reduction. For my meal, I had the shrimp and grits...THESE ARE SO SO SO SO GOOD. One of the best I've ever had (and that says ALOT). Pop in if you can!
