I really loved the place and the vibe overall. The service was pretty fast despite the place being packed. The food also tasted amazing. The omelette was out of the world with a very different taste than the usual english breakfast places. The pancakes were also good!
Highly recommend this place if you are craving english breakfast and you are near the bean.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 18, 2024
Walked in on a Saturday morning at 9 am for a table for two. Had to wait 5 minutes to sit inside, got seated right away. Very happy fun atmosphere. Definitely kid friendly. We got iced coffees, an omelette and some scrambled eggs with pancakes. Everything was DELICIOUS, well priced and it was excellent service. We absolutely loved our server. If we ever visit Chicago again - we would definitely come back. We're normally waffle people but these pancakes were top tier.

I was able to be seated within minutes at this very busy restaurant, the restaurant had great options so I went with the Berry Bliss French toast, it had a berry mascarpone made perfectly. It was a nice size and filling. The lemonade was also great I think it was pineapple or mango I can't remember but really good!

I ate here twice while attending a multi-day conference, and it totally lived up to the hype. I enjoyed the Rutherford omelette (spinach, caramelized onions, goat cheese, and bacon) so much that not only did I eat the entire (large) portion, I just had to go back on another day to get it again! I opted for fruit instead of hash browns and declined toast/pancakes due to being gluten-free, and both days they offered to give me hash browns as well instead. I was also consistently warned that the omelette contains pork, so it seems like they're pretty well versed in all the dietary restrictions out there.
They have a full espresso bar, so I was able to get a latte instead of drinking too much bottomless coffee. Service was attentive despite being busy, and it's nice that they bring the card readers right to the table so it's quick and easy to pay (and get a texted or emailed receipt). It's a big space, and they have outdoor seating as well.
Fair warning, it is POPULAR, so there's definitely a wait at peak times. I arrived before 8am on a Saturday and a Tuesday and was seated right away, so if you're an early riser, take advantage of that. I can't wait to come back to Chicago to have breakfast here again!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Paul B.Stockton, CA061Sep 12, 2024
Great location. Very good food, and not outrageously expensive considering it's next door to Ritz Carlton Hotel. Busy, no reservations, so avoid most popular seating times.

This place is great! I came here once when visiting Chicago years ago and wanted to try it again--it was just as good as I remembered. We came at around 12:50 and only had to wait around 10 minutes for a table, their check in process is very smooth and efficient.
This is definitely a super popular place but the waitstaff is still attentive and speedy. Would highly recommend the dishes we ordered, for the skillet you can sub a specialty pancake for your side so we chose the berry bliss pancakes. I don't have a sweet tooth so I definitely needed the other dishes to balance out the pancakes (which were delicious!).
A great, casual place to come for breakfast or brunch :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 20, 2024
Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe is a great brunch spot! There was a 20 minute wait to be seated inside on a 90 degree day, and we opted to sit outside under their umbrella canopies. I had a refreshing glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and my husband had the delicious hibiscus lemonade. We both had the Fresca omelette with sides of gluten-free pancakes. We enjoyed our meals but thought the portions were too large. Unfortunately, I did not care too much for the sweet potato fries, which were bland and a little soggy. Our server was impeccable. He made perfect recommendations about menu favorites and was attentive throughout our dining experience. We recommend Wildberry for its gluten-free options, lovely outdoor space, and excellent service.

My coworker Renee' highly recommends Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe. We came here a couple of times to celebrate our coworkers.
The food tastes amazing! The vegetarian egg omelette tastes fabulous! It comes with asparagus, tomatoes, green peppers, broccoli and mushrooms. Cheese will be an added $1. The menu offers various options such as the type of toast, fruit, or hash browns. I opted for the English Muffin and fruit. Delicious!
Wildberry Pancakes makes a great place to hold luncheon meetings, staff outings, or having a lunch date. The ambiance feels relaxed and not rushed.
The service rates an A+. The wait staff quickly comes over and takes the customers' orders quickly. The service staff do an amazing job in making sure everyone feels comfortable.
Understandably why many like and choose Wildberry Pancakes as their first choice for breakfast, and lunch. Located in the Loop, many who work in office buildings come to Wildberry.
When in the Loop, come to Wildberry. Bring coworkers, friends, and even family for breakfast and lunch.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 15, 2024
This place has the triangle of excellence in that it's service, ambience, and food are absolutely phenomenal.
We had the bliss berry pancakes and the wild mushroom omelette, orange juice, and ice coffee.
We smashed the omelette in no time. This there's no picture. The pancakes were so good that we had to share them.
This pace is the best breakfast I've ever had in Chitown after more than 35 years of coming here.
Definitely worth the wait and the cash.
Get Wild here!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - 17860208Mar 14, 2024
So many great things to say about this. If you're in the area, this is a must try! I came here on a Saturday morning around 11 am and there was a huge line of people waiting to be seated and the line moved fast. We were sat in about 15 minutes.
First thing I noticed was the vastness of the menu. I wanted everything I saw on only people's table but ultimately we settled on the brisket skillet, oreo pancakes, & the traditional breakfast with the signature berry bliss pancakes. My taste buds did the electric slide with the brisket skillet. Our waitress even said that was her favorite! The pancakes were so good (a little on the sweet side) but this meal made us almost go back the next day to try new items on the menu. I'd definitely recommend going here!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
