    Radisson Hotel Group adds 10 new hotels to its pipeline in South Asia

    Radisson Hotel Group has signed 10 new hotels across its brands, including Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Individuals, and Radisson Individuals Retreats. The group entered five new markets and will be the first to open internationally branded hotels in Jawai, Sagar, Yavatmal, Ooty, and Calicut. The Radisson Blu Hotel, Nathdwara Stadium, Rajasthan, features 234 rooms and is India's first Cricket Stadium Hotel.

    Radisson Hotel Group announced the signing of 10 new hotels on Wednesday. The company said the signings materialised over the past four days, and are spread across brands, including Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Individuals, and its brand extension Radisson Individuals Retreats. The Group also entered five new markets and will be the first to open internationally branded hotels in Jawai (Rajasthan), Sagar (Madhya Pradesh), Yavatmal (Maharashtra), Ooty (Tamil Nadu) and Calicut (Kerala).

    The chain also signed Radisson Blu Hotel, Nathdwara Stadium, Rajasthan, featuring 234 rooms. This hotel is India's first Cricket Stadium Hotel, with 75% of its rooms offering views of the main cricket field.

    There are two signings under its Radisson brand - Radisson Sagar and Radisson Mohali. The chain has also signed Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Calicut.

    Elie Younes, executive vice president and global chief development officer at Radisson Hotel Group said the rapid expansion of the portfolio in South Asia reflects the trust of the chain's partners, the delivery of its systems, and the relevance of its brands. "India is one of the key growth markets for us worldwide and we look forward to continuing our growth journey with our existing and new partners," he added.

    Nikhil Sharma, managing director, and area senior vice president, South Asia at Radisson Hotel Group said South Asia offers a 'significant' opportunity for the chain to grow as it remains focused on cementing its portfolio across brands and its valued partners have a strong role to play in this. "With their support, the Group is fueling this growth journey dotted with such milestones of signing 10 hotels in a matter of four days. By entering new markets and reinforcing our footprint in existing ones, we continue to drive growth and deliver exceptional value to our stakeholders," he added.

    The company said Radisson Individuals Retreats has also expanded into Jawai and Ooty with the signing of Aaramgarh Jawai Resort and Spa and the Nilgiris Ooty Resort.

    The signings also include three conversions under the Radisson Individuals brand in Yavatmal, Udaipur, and Gwalior. Jasraj Place Yavatmal, a member of Radisson Individuals, will be the first internationally branded and organized hotel in Yavatmal. The chain said Parallel Hotel Udaipur, a member of Radisson Individuals, will be a design-led hotel in Udaipur where each guest room floor will feature a unique design theme. Hotel Gwalior Regency, a member of Radisson Individuals will be the brand’s third hotel in Gwalior.
