Businesswoman Radhika Gupta has had a happy realisation this week after her trip to the US.

The Edelweiss Mutual Fund CEO and MD visited the US during the weekend.

The mother-of-one took to Twitter to share her views about India's "extraordinary" hospitality.

In her tweet, she wrote, "India spoils us with hospitality. A trip to the US reminds me how extraordinary the service standards in our hotels are."

Gupta's post earned a lot of reaction on the micro-blogging platform.

When a user recalled the 'infectious' service of Taj Hotels, Gupta replied saying that the hotel chain's hospitality is a class apart. "Taj is in a different orbit! Waiting to stay at one again," she said in reply.

On Sunday (March 19), the 40-year-old shared with her 165.3K followers on Twitter that she took an Air India flight from Mumbai to San Francisco and was impressed with its service beyond words. She thanked the airline for making her 16-hour-long journey comfortable.

She tweeted, "Flew MUM-SFO and very impressed by the service of Air India. 16 hours is a long flight, but the crew really was caring and made it comfortable. Thank you, guys!"

The homegrown airline quickly responded, "We are glad that our crew assisted you with keen dedication and care. We'll certainly convey your words to our team. We hope to share the skies with you again soon!"

Another verified account which goes by the Twitter handle @Niveshak_ pointed out the royal treatment tourists get in India when they visit desi hotels. "That’s why when firangis come to Indian hotels, they can’t believe their eyes and ears on being treated like royals," the tweet read.
