Seems like Apple is ready to debut its mixed reality headset at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference, as per a report in Bloomberg.

The tech giant has been working on virtual reality and artificial reality headsets for around seven years now. We have come across several reports and prototypes of the device in the past, but as per the recent report, the Cupertino-based tech giant is all set to launch the VR and AR headsets at this year's WWDC where the iPhone-maker is expected to reveal the much-awaited device which took years to reach the final stage.

Though Apple hasn't yet announced the date of the release or its WWDC plans, we can expect the VR/AR device to come out in June this year.

Earlier Apple had to called off the launch until the company had developed a tech that could keep up with the Cupertino-based giant's vision for AR/VR headsets, however, according to Financial Times, Apple's CEO Tim Cook has given green light to the launch.

During Cook's leadership, Apple has already launched two hit products under the iPhone ecosystem: AirPod and Apple Smartwatch. So it'll be interesting to see how the upcoming AR/VR headsets by Apple change the narrative for the tech giant.

The headset, speculated to be named as the 'Reality Pro', may come with some of the most advanced tech such as hand tracking, realistically render someone you're having a conversation with over FaceTime, switch between AR and VR.

Now talking about the price, we can expect Apple to start the headset line-up at around $3,000 which will come around up to Rs 2,45,807.

If all the rumours and speculations prove to be true, then the upcoming headset by Apple, which is set to be unveiled this year, could be the tech company's most expensive product.
